The Tutor Hub uses a do-think-do education principal that enables students to not only learn but also understand their work – turning school work into a more relevant and understandable experience.
Education also has to be fun and enjoyable to make it relevant, our friendly and personable approach ensures that there is not an ‘us and them’ environment. We encourage each learner to take an active part and speak out when they need to. We work at the best pace that suits them until they fully understand the problems they are tackling.
The Tutor Hub can currently accommodate up to 30 students at once and our sessions are offered between 8:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday and 08:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays. We do offer evening and weekend courses during the examination revision time period if required and can create study schedules.
Our story
About The Tutor Hub
The Tutor Hub is the brainchild of Kamilla Tallodi and Ramona Pedrick. Kamilla has been a teacher in Johannesburg for over 30 years and is a specialist in mathematics.
Whilst still a school teacher, Kamilla noticed a need for private tutoring in the Johannesburg northern suburbs and so established her tuition centre, helping both homeschooled and mainstream learners perform well in their studies.
Ramona was previously a senior marketing executive who wanted to help future generations and joined Kamilla to then officially create The Tutor Hub. She is now finishing her MBA. She is also a qualified life coach and is retraining to become an internationally accredited psychologist .
